What is Dubbing?

Dubbing is a way of translating films, cartoons and TV series, when you change the original language and completely impose another on the video.

Dubbing has several features, such as:

  • When selecting actors for dubbing, their voice age, character temperament and original voice and timbre are taken into account.
  • For accurate duplication, a special text packing and translation processing is formed.
  • Each actor must be voiced by a different person. However, there have been times when a single dubbing actor has voiced multiple characters. As a rule, this is a professional actor and only specialists can recognize such voice acting.
  • During dubbing, the acoustic conditions must be observed. For example, if an actor speaks in the bathroom, then the voice of the understudy should sound with an echo. Other noises and voice-overs (narrator’s voice) are also recorded separately.
